What Do We Offer?
-
Pipeline Scholars is a physician-led pre-health academy designed to help students confidently explore and prepare for careers in healthcare. Through our Virtual Academy and Live Skills Clinic, students learn directly from physicians and experienced healthcare professionals while gaining the knowledge, practical skills, and real-world perspective needed to succeed in shadowing, volunteering, internships, college, and future healthcare careers. Students may enroll in either program independently, or combine both experiences for the most comprehensive introduction to the healthcare profession.
-
Pipeline Scholars offers a flexible, two-part learning experience designed to fit into students' busy schedules. The Virtual Academy consists of eight live, 75-minute online classes held once a week and led by physicians and experienced healthcare professionals. Students may also choose to participate in the two-day, in-person Live Skills Clinic, where they apply their knowledge through hands-on clinical training, simulations, and industry-recognized certifications. While each program can be taken independently, we recommend completing the Virtual Academy before attending the Live Skills Clinic for the most comprehensive learning experience.
-
The Virtual Academy and Live Skills Clinic offer completely different curriculum:
Virtual Academy: Build your healthcare knowledge by exploring careers, learning how the healthcare system works, developing professional skills, and participating in physician-led discussions and real-world case studies.
Live Skills Clinic: Put your learning into practice through hands-on clinical training, patient interaction, simulations, and certifications including CPR/AED, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed®.
While each program offers an incredible learning experience on its own, we recommend completing the Virtual Academy before attending the Live Skills Clinic. Together, they provide the best preparation for students exploring a future in healthcare by combining foundational knowledge with real-world clinical experience.
-
Both the virtual and in-person Pipeline Scholars programs cost $1,500. Tuition for the Virtual Academy includes eight weeks of live physician-led instruction, interactive case studies, team-based learning, and a collaborative learning community. Tuition for the Live Skills Clinic includes two full days of hands-on clinical training, immersive simulations, and industry-recognized certifications, including CPR/AED, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed®. Students may enroll in either program independently or complete both for the most comprehensive pre-health learning experience.
